For landowners and land managers — Pyrome

Landowners, ranchers and land managers

Plan grazing and burning on a calendar, not a hazard band.

PRIMER tells a ranch group, a station, a land manager or a lender which hectares will be ready to burn and when, so burn windows, grazing rotations, firebreaks and stock movements are decided on a date. Drones fly over our own estate. They do not fly over yours.

Talk to us Host a reference site

Burn, graze, break and move stock on the date.

01

Burn windows

Burns lit into fuel that will carry and not run, in windows the model calls safe.

02

Grazing rotations

Stock steered to the units where load matters most in the weeks before their date.

03

Firebreaks and margins

Break maintenance sequenced by the date of the fuel it protects, where it counts rather than everywhere.

04

Stock and infrastructure

Stock moved, water staged, and the county and the neighbours told, a week before the date.

How it deploys

Satellite data, a handful of reference sites, a season of calibration. No aircraft.

On your land the forecast comes from orbit and from the mapping PRIMER learned once on the training ground. Nothing flies over the property and nothing is installed on it unless you choose to host a reference site.

A reference site is a steel pole, a small rain roof, a sensor head and a solar panel, installed and maintained by Pyrome. Hosts see the fuel state on their own ground first.

Agricultural lenders

Collateral watched on a date rather than a hazard map.

A watchlist of the collateral parcels with a date inside the horizon, their paths and the assets in them, so covenants, valuations and mitigation conditions are set on the forecast.

Conservation and carbon

Early-season burning against measured fuel state.

The fuel state of every hectare, the date each will carry a late-season fire if left, and the windows in which an early burn will carry without running.
