01
A date, a probability and an expected loss per parcel, into the rating engine beside the score you already use.
02
Alerts at 14 and 7 days trigger defence dispatch, policyholder communications and mitigation offers.
03
Forecast dates and losses aggregated across the book, to reserve and retrocede against the coming weeks rather than the average.
04
A forecast that a burned parcel was inside the window is evidence of cause, timing and whether mitigation was possible.
Selection
A postcode-priced competitor treats every parcel in a high-risk ZIP as though it will burn this season. A date-priced carrier defends or non-renews the parcels with a date and retains the rest at a margin. The loss-ratio arithmetic is the smaller part; the selection effect is what compounds.
In your metrics
PRIMER does not replace your catastrophe model. It supplies the one input the model lacks, the state of the fuel, day by day, and reports in the model's own terms.
The platform
Underwriting, catastrophe and claims teams see every land area in which they hold exposure down to the hectare. For a parcel with a date the platform plays the fire through and sets the cost of each intervention beside the loss it avoids.
Reinsurers and parametric platforms can build products on a dated trigger that do not exist today. Pyrome supplies the trigger and takes no risk.
Add-on
The parcels where the book is concentrated have a county road, a state crew and a utility line running through them: levers a carrier cannot pull. On the plan, a named agent works them on the date, and the ledger is a documented standard of care behind a non-renewal or a rate filing.
